Migrated to BuyVM NY VPS 2022-12-15 ======================== As of yesterday, 13f0.net has moved to a new VPS, this time from 1984 to BuyVM's New York VPS. I never got a good latency and speed to the old VPS and was unable to use it for a good Wireguard VPN in addition to having no native IPv6. With BuyVM that all seems to be fine. Price-wise, 1984 was also much more expensive compared to BuyVM where I paid $15/month ($10 for 13f0 and $5 for another VPS to have an extra IP address) while in BuyVM I'm only paying $6.50/month ($3.50+$3 for extra IP to replace the previous second VPS) and an extra $5 for a terabyte of storage for offsite backups, which is probably overkill. Also, since Frantech, BuyVM's parent company, is Canadian, I wouldn't have to worry much about DMCA requests too, but that doesn't seem to be a problem with 1984 as well. IPv6 for clearnet will also be coming back because of being given a /48 prefix, so that's also a nice bonus.
